Going to see Cercle Brugge at Jan Breydelstadion

Cercle Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadium

Cercle Brugge, founded in 1899 and known in Bruges simply as the Vereniging, play in green and black at the Jan Breydel Stadium. They share the ground, which holds just over 29,000, with city rivals Club Brugge. A Cercle match is a great introduction to Belgian football without the crowds of the big fixtures, and it comes with a day in one of Europe's prettiest cities.

How ticket sales work

Cercle season ticket holders and members get priority. We sell official tickets in Cercle's home sections, so you sit among the green-and-black supporters. The Bruges derby against Club always sells first, so book early for that one.

Getting there

Bruges is about two hours' drive from Breda, and half an hour from the Dutch border in Zeelandic Flanders. The stadium is in Sint-Andries, on the edge of the city. If you are combining the match with the old town, allow plenty of time to get out to the ground. Want to stay the night? Choose ticket with hotel for your match.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same stadium as Club Brugge's?
Yes. Cercle and Club both play at the Jan Breydel Stadium, each with its own home end.

Will I sit among the home fans?
Yes, our tickets are for Cercle's home sections. So please don't wear the away team's colours, and definitely no blue and black at the derby.

Do I need ID?
Bring it. Football tickets in Belgium are issued in your name, and you may be asked for ID at the gate.
