Nacional on Madeira
Nacional are Funchal's other club, in black and white. Their small ground sits high in the hills above the city, with views over Funchal and the ocean. And a nice fact for your holiday: Cristiano Ronaldo, who grew up on Madeira, played in Nacional's youth teams before leaving for Sporting.
How ticket sales work
For most matches there's plenty of room, but the derby against Marítimo and the games against Benfica, Porto and Sporting fill up fast. We sell official tickets in the home sections, so you sit among the Nacional supporters. Your tickets arrive before the match.
Getting there
Madeira has direct flights from across Europe. The ground is high above Funchal and the roads up are steep, so take a taxi or drive yourself. We wouldn't recommend walking.

Will I sit among the home fans?
Yes, our tickets are for the home sections. So please don't wear the away team's colours, and definitely no green and red at the derby against Marítimo.
